  Is SLN Right for you?
 
  SLN is an ideal way to take online classes and courses - but online study is not for everyone! Find out if it's right for you by answering the following questions.

  4. I can read and understand college-level material.
  5. If I set my sights on a goal, I usually achieve it.
  6. I believe in my academic abilities.
  7. I don't give up easily.

  9. Commuting is difficult for me.
  10. I find it difficult to balance work, family, and an on-campus education.
  11. I have access to a computer with an Internet connection.
  12. I am willing to try new things.
  13. I work well in an unstructured environment.
  14. I am willing to express my opinion in writing.
  15. I want to actively participate in learning (by doing tasks, projects, etc.)

Now count your "yes" answers. If you have 12 or more, online courses are probably right for you. If there are fewer than 12, you might find online learning a challenge; rethink your reasons and make sure you're comfortable with the online experience before moving ahead.
