2009 NUTN DISTANCE EDUCATION INNOVATION AWARD

The NUTN Distance Education Innovation award was received by SLN for the SLN Online Teaching Survey for experienced online instructors.

The National University Telecommunications Network (NUTN) Distance Education Innovation Award for 2009 was presented to Alexandra M. Pickett and the SUNY Learning Network on June 23, 2009 in Saratoga Springs, NY at the NUTN annual conference ( http://www.uensd.org/NUTN2009/) for the SLN Online Teaching Survey for experienced online instructors.

This award recognizes an individual or group that has developed an innovative program or practice that contributes to the field of distance education, in the context of a new or ongoing program, student or support services, pedagogy, faculty development and support or technology.

2006 United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) 21st Century Award

The 2006 USDLA 21ST Century Award was presented to SLN in the following categories:

• Online Technology/Higher Education
• Best Practices for Distance Learning

2002 Sloan-C Excellence in Online Teaching & Learning Award Winners

The 2002 Sloan-C Excellence in Online Teaching and Learning award was presented to the State University of New York's SUNY Learning Network for:

• Excellence in Institution-Wide ALN Programming

2001 Sloan-C Excellence in Online Teaching & Learning Award Winner

The 2001 Sloan-C Excellence in Online Teaching and Learning award was presented to the State University of New York's SUNY Learning Network for:

• Excellence in ALN Faculty Development

2001 Educause Award

• In 2001, SUNY Learning Network was presented with the Educause Systemic Progress in Teaching and Learning Award.
